Migração de novas unidades consumidoras para esta modalidade de consumo de energia no primeiro semestre de 2023 bate recorde e destaque fica com Pernambuco, Goiás e Ceará,
Por possibilitar a negociação direta com o fornecedor e uma maior previsibilidade, o mercado livre de energia proporciona uma significativa redução nos custos de empresas.
Atualmente, apenas cerca de 30 mil unidades consumidoras estão no Mercado Livre, número que poderá passar a ser de 180 mil unidades consumidoras de alta tensão já a partir de 2024, conforme determina a portaria.
Entre 2014 e 2021, a conta de luz teve aumento 237% maior do que o do IPCA [índice que mede a inflação]. Nesse mesmo período, os preços do mercado livre ficaram 25% abaixo do IPCA.
Com a redução do limite de contratação, dos atuais 500 kW para 30 kW, a partir de janeiro de 2024, conforme proposto no PL 414/21, mais empresas irão comprar energia no Ambiente de Contratação Regulada.
Processo permitirá a contratação de Parceria Público-Privada para construção da unidade com capacidade de 135 MW
